Stata programs for ATT estimation based on propensity score matching

Below you can download version 2.02 of the "Stata programs for ATT estimation based on propensity score matching" written by Sascha O. Becker and Andrea Ichino.

These programs may be used and distributed free of charge by anyone if credit is given. They have been tested fairly well but they come with no guarantee and the authors assume no liability for their use or misuse.

DOCUMENTATION

Version 1 of the programs (for Stata 7) was documented in
Estimation of average treatment effects based on propensity scores (2002) The Stata Journal Vol.2, No.4, pp. 358-377.

Version 2.02 allows for the bootstrap options in Stata 8 and allows identification of matched pairs in nearest neighbor matching. Furthermore, we have improved some of the output produced by the programs. More detail is in the respective help files.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE PROGRAMS

Within Stata, you can type -net search propensity score and follow the link.
A second option is to download the *.ado, the *.hlp files and the working paper version of the SJ paper in a single .zip file here: pscore202.zip.
